Dates: The world's healthiest superfruit that cures dozens of diseases

A staple in Middle Eastern cuisine and many Mediterranean countries, dates are sweet fruits that were probably among the first to be cultivated by humans. There are around 40 varieties, and they offer amazing health benefits: here are the most important benefits of dates .

Dates are rich in iron, potassium, protein, dietary fiber, calcium, vitamins A, C, and B complex. They contain significant amounts of copper, magnesium, manganese, selenium, and zinc, and have antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antihemorrhagic properties.

Digestion . Being rich in fiber, dates improve digestion and regulate cholesterol levels. They can reduce appetite, leading us to eat much less.

Anemia . Dates are high in iron (0.9 mg per 100 grams, about 11% of the recommended daily intake). But that's not all: iron improves oxygen flow to the brain.
