When you lift the lid of this dish fresh from the oven, a wave of pure joy fills the kitchen. The aroma of juicy chops mingled with that of melting potatoes smothered in a creamy sauce immediately evokes comforting family meals.

 

Ingredients (for 4 to 6 people)

6 pork chops (with or without bone, according to preference)

4 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced ​​(Yukon Gold or Charlotte type for better stability)

1 large onion, sliced ​​into thin rings

2 tablespoons of butter

2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour

400 ml of stock (preferably chicken)

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon of onion powder

1/4 teaspoon of paprika (sweet or smoked, according to preference)
