Nostradamus and his prophecies: three interpretations that some link to the near future.

• easy to reinterpret after events have occurred.

This phenomenon is sometimes called  retroactive prophecy  : people associate vague texts with real events in hindsight.

 In summary:
Three commonly cited interpretations of the “future” are:

1. A great global war.

2. Major climate disasters.

3. Political upheavals in Europe.

But none of these are  confirmed predictions  , and many experts consider them examples of how ambiguous texts can be adapted to fit almost any era.
