He looked at Julian.
"Do you wish to keep this statement under oath?"
He hesitated.
"Of course".
She nodded.
Then he explained:
trust.
My company no longer belonged to me personally. It was entirely in the hands of the trust.
And according to the agreement he himself drafted —in his own words—, the trust's assets were fully protected.

Irrelevant to the divorce.
"You're not taking anything," she said.
Just like that.
Everything I thought I had won vanished.
